As Claire Cousins, Chair of ICRP, formally brought the 5th International Symposium on the System of Radiological Protection to a close, Mike Rinker, a Director General for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), opened the door for ICRP 2021 in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, co-hosted by CNSC and the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA).
The Australasian Radiation Protection Association (ARPS) and ARPANSA hosted a world-class event at the beautiful Adelaide Convention Center, an event that wouldn't have been possible without their partnership and support. Beginning with the ARPS Forum and the Bo Lindell lecture, the sessions continued to impress through the following "Mines, Medicine, and Mars" days. Make sure to follow us on social media for updates and video from ICRP 2019.
ICRP was grateful to be involved in some of the local radiological protection (RP) topics and issues here in Australia as well as across the world. This biennial symposia series links countries to the global RP community, and will continue to do so in Canada and beyond. For further information on ICRP 2019 and/or ICRP 2021, please contact Kelsey Cloutier, Development and Communicatials Manager for ICRP.
See you in Vancouver!
