In furthering our engagement across the world, ICRP continues to support and collaborate in events and publications associated with all apsects of radiological protection. We are pleased to be a part of NORM IX, taking place in Denver, Colorado 23-27 September 2019. The information below has been provided by the event organisers.
The Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD), in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), is putting the final touches on the Program for the 9th International Symposium on Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM IX). NORM IX to be held in Denver in September, and it is shaping up to be a great event. The Preliminary Program is now available at: https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/events/543/program-app/program. It is an interactive program, so you can click on each session to see the full list of papers in that session, or click on titles to see all, or search for an author.
The Scientific Committee, co-chaired by Phil Egidi, from EPA, and Boby Eid from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, have put together an excellent program with several concurrent tracks.
The Symposium will be held at the Embassy Suites in downtown Denver, and it provides complimentary breakfast and cocktail hour. Please let us know if we can provide any more information. The room block is filling up and we encourage people to not wait to the last minute to register! There is a great government rate for those who qualify.
