5th International Symposium on the System of Radiological Protection in conjunction with the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Australasian RP Association

Adelaide, Australia 17-21 November 2019

 

ICRP 2019 consisted of three distinct days of programming on key issues in radiological protection. The Mines, Medicine and Mars program allowed individuals from around the globe to discuss their respective concerns and the current challenges faced in all areas of radiological protection, as well as the ways forward through new research, updating doctrines, or better interactions with stakeholders.

The symposium attracted around 400 experts from 40 countries.The structure of the event was different from those in the past, with a focus on three main themes – Mines, Medicine, and Mars – with these and other topics also being covered in a poster session and in other oral sessions organised in conjunction with a symposium by the Australasian Radiation Protection Society(ARPS).
