Task Group 83
Protection of Aircraft Crew against Cosmic Radiation Exposure

This Task Group will prepare a publication that describes and clarifies the application of the new recommendations (ICRP 103) for the protection of aircraft crews against cosmic radiation exposure. The publication will discuss the type of exposure situation revelant to the control of aircraft crew exposures and the appropriate radiological protection principles to be implemented. Particular attention will be given to the practical implementation of the optimisation principle with the associated reference levels.
