    Publications Overview

The International Commission on Radiological Protection exists in order to provide recommendations and advice.

The fundamental recommendations of ICRP appear at intervals of 10-15 years. The recommendations are supplemented by advice appearing on a few occasions each year. Since 1977, these reports are published in our own scientific journal, the Annals of the ICRP.

In addition, ICRP sometimes publishes information in stand-alone documents, such as our recent document on the History, policy, and procedures of ICRP.

Of late, ICRP has also ventured into electronic publishing: Two CD-ROMs containing the ICRP Database of dose coefficients are now available, and further CD-ROMs are being planned, both under our own banner and in collaboration with others.

Each year, ICRP also produces a brief Annual Report

Some of the reports in the Annals of ICRP series concern radiation doses tio patients from radiopharmaceuticals. This web page contains interim reports about new radiopharmaceutical, and errata ti earlier reports.
